Enliven services are for people of all backgrounds, cultures and religious beliefs.
There are different types of Enliven services available. Within these services support is tailored to the person’s needs, interests and goals.
Some example of Enliven services are:
- practical in-home support and personal care services to support people to maintain their independence at home
- day centres and social clubs for older people
- respite and day programmes for people living with dementia
- retirement villages
- residential care, rest homes and hospitals.
Many Enliven services are paid for by the local District Health Board, Accident Compensation and Ministry of Social Development. People also have the option to use and pay for Enliven services themselves.
