Keeping Kids Safe – tamariki te tuatahi, a conference on child abuse and family violence

Concerned about the rising statistics on violence, especially family violence? Want to get behind some of the reasons and what we can do to reduce levels of child abuse and family violence in New Zealand?

Presbyterian Support Northern is hosting a conference to look at what works, and new ideas around dealing with child abuse and family violence in New Zealand.

This two day, interactive conference for community social service organisations, government, practitioners, policy makers and researchers, aims to assist all who are working with and concerned about our high rates of family violence to learn more about what works and what we could do better.

Media representatives are invited to attend part of all of the conference.
